Phase 1: Data Restructuring

The following activities have been carried out as part of the data restructuring exercise:

• Variable renaming and reformatting
• Variable grouping and generation of thematic subsets from original data
• Generation of geography tables
• Generation of primary and composite keys

In addition, during the course of this exercise, the team has identified certain inconsistencies in the base dataset that have been documented in the following chapter:

• Data related Callouts
  • Main Table
  • Building Table
  • Household Table
  • Individual Table

These inconsistencies will be clarified with relevant stakeholders at CBS, who were directly involved in the generation of the base dataset from the raw survey tables.
